Crafting a champagne, is a true work of art
The reputation of a champagne brand depends on a lot of things.
The most important issue is the choice of the growers and partners for the supply of excellent grapes.
The know-how of blending and aging the wines is the other one.
The Champagne House Comtes de Dampierre, as a family sized company, cultivates this art and offers charming, refined and fascinating wines and engages its name.

Elegance… a piece of twine
“Ficelage” is the ancestral method of tying the cork to the bottle with a thread, a know-how “à la Française” which goes back to the early 18th century.
In 1735, by royal statute, the “ficeleur” had to use three-stranded hemp thread for this purpose to secure the corks. Comtes de Dampierre perpetuates this noble tradition to the letter.
